Drifting through a woodland, a gentle breeze carries leaves in its path. The leaves are lovely shades of green, like emeralds, glittering with each drop of morning dew and drizzles of rain. As it gets further into the forest, the leaves become startling shades of fire, orange, yellow and crimson. Purple leaves are drifting too, all but only vibrant, warm and beautiful. These leaves are restless, scattering everywhere across the foresty woodland, far and wide. Only too soon, do the leaves begin to lose their colour, their vibrance fading and beginning to match the wintery spell that had begun to fall on this woodland. Soon, these leaves fall to the ground, become one with the once thriving but now dry and decaying soil. Over time, the memories and nutrients of these leaves move their way across the soil, reaching out. The soil, now with the leaves memories and nutrients, becomes thriving again. Drizzles of rain dance down and little sprouts of sleepy saplings poke out from beneath the soil in time to see Spring's radiant sunshine. The leaves taught the soil how to love once again, and in turn, taught the saplings to cherish each moment of their journey.
